Our reports provide a roadmap for progressives to reclaim energy innovation, capitalize on its broad popularity, and tailor it to tackle interrelated environmental, social, and economic crises. The progressive climate innovation agenda is built on three pillars: expansion, emissions, and equity.

Memo: Voters Support a Progressive Climate Innovation Agenda

Voters support expanding domestic production of renewable energy technologies and electric vehicles, researching and developing new energy technologies to reduce emissions in hard-to-abate industries, and prioritizing funding for researching and developing technologies that target frontline communities.

Memo: Federal Investments in Clean Energy, Infrastructure, and Innovation Enjoy Bipartisan Support

A majority of likely voters support all 10 of the Clean Jumpstart proposals that Data for Progress tested. Support is strongly bipartisan: A majority of Democrats and Independents support all 10 proposals, and nearly all proposals enjoy net support among Republicans.
